With two offices in Greenville, SC, Dermatology Associates, PA is a comprehensive cosmetic, medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology practice founded by Board Certified Dermatologist, Falls Harris, M.D.
Having served the Upstate for over 50 years, Dermatology Associates strives to provide the highest quality skin care services using advanced techniques and state-of-the-art technology. We also offer a variety of products and services to satisfy patients’ skin care needs. Our dedicated and friendly staff welcomes patients of all ages, from newborns to senior citizens.

Joseph M. Catanzaro, MD, FAAD
Dr. Catanzaro has enjoyed practicing general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology at Dermatology Associates since 1993. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the South Carolina Dermatological Association and the Piedmont Dermatological Association. Dr. Catanzaro is a former president of the Piedmont Dermatological Society and former chairperson of the Department of Dermatology at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Professional interests include the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, identification and removal of atypical moles and skin lesions and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Catanzaro was the first dermatologist in Greenville to use Botox for the treatment of facial wrinkles.
Dr. Catanzaro enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. As all of his children attended Clemson University, he remains a loyal fan of the Tigers, as well as the Fighting Irish. He enjoys working and playing outdoors, playing guitar, music and reading.

Matthew E. Bryan, MD, FAAD
Dr. Bryan has been practicing general and surgical dermatology and Mohs surgery at Dermatology Associates since 2004. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Mohs surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, South Carolina Dermatological Association and Piedmont Dermatological Association.
Dr. Bryan’s practice is focused primarily on Mohs and dermatologic surgery for the treatment of skin cancer. He was the first Mohs surgeon in Greenville, opening his Mohs lab in 2004.
Dr. Bryan is married to his high school sweetheart, and they have four children. When he is not at work, you will find Dr. Bryan with his family on their farm with goats, cows, barn cats and Great Pyrenees guardian dogs. Dr. Bryan is passionate about his commitment to his Lord, his family and his patients.

Joel C. Phillips, MD, FAAD
Dr. Phillips practices general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology with a focus on Mohs micrographic surgery, a procedure he has performed since 2005. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the South Carolina Dermatological Association and the Piedmont Dermatological Society. He is past Secretary/Treasurer of the Piedmont Dermatological Society.
Some of Dr. Phillips special interests include medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery and Botox/fillers.
Dr. Phillips enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys water sports, snow skiing, travel, and wildlife/land management.

W. Justin McCrary, MD, FAAD
Dr. McCrary joined Dermatology Associates in 2013. He graduated summa cum laude with departmental honors from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He attended medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he was a junior inductee to Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine, followed by Dermatology residency training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Having happily returned to the Upstate, Dr. McCrary provides general, surgical and cosmetic dermatologic care with a focus on early detection and treatment of skin cancers and atypical nevi. He is a member of the AAD, SCMA, Piedmont Dermatologic Society and SCADDS. Outside of work, he spends his time enjoying all that the Upstate has to offer (including Clemson football) with his wife, Kasey, and their 3 children.

Ashley C. Parks, MD
Dr. Parks was raised in the Upstate, and she has been practicing at Dermatology Associates since returning to the area in 2015. While at the Medical University of South Carolina, she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha and was the recipient of the Henry Tracy Ivy Award and American Medical Women’s Association Glasgow Rubin Certificate. During her dermatology training, she served as Chief Resident, volunteered at skin cancer screenings and presented at state and national dermatology meetings.
At Dermatology Associates, she enjoys performing skin cancer screenings in order to both prevent and detect skin cancer. She diagnoses and treats a wide variety of skin conditions, surgically removes skin cancers and atypical moles and performs Botox. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Piedmont Dermatological Association and South Carolina Dermatological Association.
Outside the office, Dr. Parks stays busy with her husband and three young children.

Courtney L. McFaddin, MD, FAAD
Dr. McFaddin is a native South Carolinian who joined Dermatology Associates in 2020. She graduated summa cum laude and with honors from Clemson University and received her medical doctorate from the Medical University of South Carolina. At MUSC, she received several awards for excellence in patient care and academic achievement and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. After graduating from medical school, she pursued a residency in dermatology at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas, where she served as chief resident and received an award for excellence in dermatopathology. After finishing residency, she ventured back to South Carolina and completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at MUSC. She has published several articles and presented at state and national meetings on various dermatology and dermatopathology topics.
As a dermatologist, Dr. McFaddin enjoys developing relationships with her patients. She treats a wide range of skin conditions and patients of all ages. Her particular clinical interests include skin cancer screening, surgical dermatology, and dermatopathology.
Outside of work, Dr. McFaddin enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, attending Clemson football games, and serving at her church.

Benjamin J. Barrick, DO, FAAD
Dr. Barrick is a native of Colorado Springs, CO. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in biology from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington, and he received his medical training at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, where he graduated with honors. After completing an internship at Mayo Clinic, where he received the Intern of the Year Award, he went on to pursue a residency in dermatology. Dr. Barrick served as Chief Resident and was honored with multiple awards for excellence in patient care, research, and education. He has authored multiple publications and has presented original research at national meetings.
Dr. Barrick joined Dermatology Associates in Greenville in 2017, and he enjoys caring for his patients’ dermatologic needs. Dr. Barrick is interested in a broad range of medical and surgical dermatology including Mohs micrographic surgery. He is focused on prevention, early detection, and surgical treatment of skin cancer.
Dr. Barrick prefers to spend his free time with his wife and three children, enjoying the outdoors and exploring the Upstate.

Allyson N. Cook, PA-C
After graduation from PA school, Mrs. Cook started her dermatology career with a large group in Miami, Florida, where she stayed for several years providing surgical, general dermatology and cosmetic services to patients. She later moved back to South Carolina and has been working in the Upstate ever since, where she is closer to family, friends and Clemson football.
Mrs. Cook’s interests are skin exams with dermoscopy for atypical nevi and skin cancers. She enjoys treatment and management of skin cancer, as well as common dermatological conditions. She performs Botox and likes doing non-invasive laser procedures.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and puppy. She also enjoys lake days on Lake Keowee with family and friends.

Brooke C. Meyer, PA-C
Mrs. Meyer is a board certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) who joined Dermatology Associates in 2016. She is a native of Dallas, TX and graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Texas A&M. During her years at Texas A&M, Brooke served as Treasurer and then Vice President of Eta Sigma Gamma, a national health education honor society. She was awarded with the College of Education Distinguished Honor Graduate Award for leadership, academic excellence and service. After graduation, Brooke coordinated an after-school program for underprivileged children in Dallas. In addition, she enjoyed several semesters of theological training at Dallas Theological Seminary.
During her physician assistant training at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Brooke served as class Secretary and participated in many service projects, including health screenings at the Mexican Consulate and an immunization clinic. In her last semester of training, she was one of three Physician Assistant students inducted into Alpha Eta, the national scholastic honor society for the Allied Health Professions. She earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Southwestern in 2007 and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Mrs. Meyer now resides in Greenville and enjoys exploring new mountainous surroundings, serving at church and laughing a lot with her husband, Jeremy, two children and Aussiedoodle puppy.

Jessica A. Mills, PA-C
For the past 11 years, Jessica has worked in a medical dermatologic practice performing skin checks, minor surgical procedures and assisting in Mohs surgery. She is skilled at treating a variety of skin conditions, such as abnormal moles, skin cancer, rashes and acne. Jessica also offers cosmetic services, such as Botox and cosmetic filler injections. She and her family moved to Greenville in 2018 so that her husband could pursue a career opportunity. Prior to that, they enjoyed twenty years in Reston, Virginia. Jessica has worked in healthcare since 1993 and she has been a physician assistant for over twenty years in a surgical subspecialty.
In her free time she loves to travel, garden, hike and spend time with her family. She is leader for yearly medical mission trips to Sierra Leone, West Africa.

Lauren Probst
Lauren joined Dermatology Associates in November 2018, coming to us from Asheville, North Carolina. She has worked as a Medical Aesthetician and Laser Technician for over 7 years. She enjoys helping patients who struggle with photodamage, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, acne and acne scarring through specialized skin laser therapy and radio frequency microneeedling.
She loves spending time with her little Yorkie and Guinea pig, and on her days off – playing golf and tennis.
